Olet pipe fittings (also known as Branch Connection Fittings or Outlet Fittings) are fittings that provide an outlet from a larger pipe to a smaller (or comparable size) pipe. The basic pipe onto which the branch association is welded is sometimes referred to as the run or header size estimate. The Branch or Outlet size refers to the pipe to which the branch association or connection provides a channel. Branch associations are available in a wide range of sizes, shapes, bores, and classes, as well as a wide range of stainless steel, chrome-moly, and other amalgam alloys.
A Pipe Outlet Fittings connects two intersecting pipes. Pipe Outlet Fittings are used to connect a larger-diameter pipe to a smaller-diameter pipe. Branch Connections, as opposed to traditional fittings, take up less area and require only two welds to fit precisely. The funnel-like shape allows for unrestricted system flow. Standard branch connections include 90-degree and 45-degree tees, as well as a Wye Branch fitting.

Different Types of Olet or Outlet Pipe Fittings:
What are the Difference Between Flexolet and Weldolet?
Our two branch connection products are the Flexolet and the Weldolet. They perform the same function, which is that they reinforce the strength lost when a hole is cut into the header pipe and connect the header pipe to the branch pipe. The Weldolet has a tapered bore, whereas the Flexolet has a straight-through bore, which accounts for the difference in designs.
Socket Outlet Fittings vs Threaded Pipe Outlet Fittings
A threaded pipe outlet fitting is utilized for low pressure 90-degree pipe branches. In Threaded Outlets, the branch pipe is screwed on them and welded to the run pipe. They are available with pressure classes of 3000# and 6000#.
A socket outlet pipe fittings have a branch attached by a socket inside an Outlet. In lower-pressure systems with smaller pipe diameters, the Branch Connection Weld is also used. They are available in 3000#, 6000#, and 9000# pressure classifications.

Why Prefer Olets Fittings Over Conventional Branch Connection?
There are several benefits to employing Olets fittings instead of a traditional tee and manufactured junction. I've included a few of them below-
Specification of Weldolet
Of all the olet fittings, weldolets are the most widely used and are ideal for high-pressure applications. A weldolet, which is available in full size or reduced for a straight piece of pipe, creates a 90° branch connection. Due to its self-enforced construction, it is intended to reduce stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement. Weldolet ends have beveled kinds; hence, the fitting is referred to as a buttweld.

What is Sockolet? and its Specifictaion
The branch pipe end of a Sockolet will be the plain end because it has a socket weld end as opposed to a Weldolet's plain end. To create a 90° pipe branch, utilize socks. It is utilized in low-pressure lines and pipes of modest sizes. The branch pipe is welded to the socket with fillets. A sockolet, like a weldolet, needs a welded connection on the pipe header side.
What is Thredolet? and its Specifictaion
A threadolet creates the 90° branch and is comparable to a sockolet and weldolet. The key distinction is that the branching pipe or instruments are screwed onto the sockolet fitting, which has a female threaded end. Branching can happen at the same size or at a smaller size. The threadolet end typically conforms to American standards and is of the NPT type (National Pipe Thread). Under ASME B1.20.1 specification, the final preparation is carried out.
What is Sweepolet? Where its use ? and its Specifictaion
A Sweepolet is a branch connection with a low stress escalation factor that is shaped and integrally strengthened. It has a long fatigue life and minimal stresses.
What is Latrolet? and its Specifictaion
Only Latrolet fittings offer lateral branch connections at 45 degrees instead of the more common 90 degrees. There are multi-end connections available for Latrolets fittings.
What is Flangolet? and its Specifictaion
Flangolets are fittings used for connecting large-bore headers to flanged end components. Breaker flanges may also be joined using Flangolets if your line requires frequent maintenance.
What is Nipolets? and its Specifictaion
Nipolets are fittings used to connect plain-end large-bore header pipes to small-bore threaded-end branches with threaded outlets on one end; they are typically used in valve takeoff systems and high- and low-point venting/drainage systems. Welded directly onto header or run pipe, they feature socket welds or threaded outlets on their branch pipe side for secure attachment.
What is Coupolet? and its Specifictaion
Coupolet fittings resemble thread end half couplings, designed for use in fire sprinkler systems and low-pressure plumbing networks.
What is Elbolet? and its Specifictaion
An Elbolet fitting is typically utilized on 90-degree long radius elbows with long radius bends (most commonly), short radius elbows (rarely used), or 180-degree returns, and it can even be utilized as drain connections if there is not enough room to use a Weldolet fitting. They come equipped with buttweld, socket weld, or threaded end connections.
